Hartford County lawyer, John Liquori, 59, and his wife, Cindy Liquori, 55, were found dead after the Windsor Locks Police Department received a 911 call reporting a shooting around 6 p.m., Friday, Dec. 25, said Lt. Paul Cherniack.

Responding officers found the couple dead from gunshot wounds inside Cindy Liquori's mother's home, he added.

Windsor Locks detectives and Connecticut State Police Central District Major Crime Squad responded to the scene shortly thereafter.

A preliminary investigation suggests it is a murder/suicide, Cherniack said.

A weapon was recovered at the scene.

John Liquori had been a lawyer for nearly 32 years and worked out of his Suffield home, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Cindy Liquori was the owner of Cindy’s Soap Cottage in East Windsor where she worked with her mother.
